Who am I?
A recent graduate seeking work in the audio and sound industries. Certified and experienced with a variety of DAWs, middleware, hardware and implementation techniques.
Studied in Ireland and now based in the UK, having worked with sound and music for almost ten years. While I am currently focusing on sound design for games, I am also available for all other media such as music, film, installation, etc. |
What do I do?
I make wonderful noises for your wonderful project.
I can provide early-stage planning to develop a unique sonic identity all the way from conceptualization to fruition, tying in neatly with the project aesthetic. I work with both linear and interactive media, creating and implementing assets and music with whatever systems are required. Want to simply send me an asset list and rest assured that your project's audio is being taken care of? No problem. Need to go the extra mile and have dynamic sound and music playback for your interactive project? Let's do it. |
Why do I do it?
I really, really like noises. I like loud ones. I like loud gigs, I like loud movies, I like loud games. I like quiet ones. Quiet music, quiet places, quiet people. I like no noise because I notice things I otherwise wouldn't.
I like odd time signatures. I like drones. I like waterphones and 303s. I like folk music, breakcore and black metal. I love intricate sounds and music that require the listener to hear it over and over again before they can decipher what's happening. I love obtuse, one-dimensional sounds that are direct and simplistic in their message. I like the sound of hard drives failing. I like the sound of a forest with no one around for miles. I like the sound of a burrowing insect. I like the sound of instruments being tuned. I want to make these noises for people and their projects and ideas. |
